Educational policy in Mexico is the responsibility of all three levels of government, yet in the case of the municipalities, their activities are tangential and rarely reflected in their government agendas. The objective of this article is therefore to explore the incorporation of education in municipal development plans in the state of Tlaxcala, understood as the formal agenda of activities, through a methodology of reviewing historical documents. The findings show inconsistencies in the identification of educational needs and in the incorporation of content related to that established by the legislation.
La política educativa en México es responsabilidad de los tres ámbitos de gobierno pero, en el caso de los municipios, sus actividades son tangenciales y se ven poco reflejadas en sus agendas de gobierno. Así entonces, el objetivo de este artículo es conocer la integración de la educación en los planes municipales de desarrollo en el estado Tlaxcala, entendidos como la agenda formal de actividades, mediante una metodología de revisión histórico documental. Los hallazgos muestran inconsistencias en la identificación de necesidades en materia educativa y en la incorporación de contenidos relacionados con los que establece la legislación. |
