Descripción	This work presents a spatial analysis of daily mobility in the Metropolitan Area of San Luis Potosí, where the displacement patterns of its population are unknown. With the implementation of a mobility survey, and an origin-destination matrix, the characteristics of people’s habitual trips and their flows in the studied area are observed. The results reflect the characteristics of mobility, the concentration of trips in certain parts of the city, the need for more transportation options, the limitations in accessibility and connectivity, and the social and environmental implications of the current mobility scheme. Este trabajo expone un análisis espacial de la movilidad cotidiana en la Zona Metropolitana de San Luis Potosí, cuyos patrones de desplazamiento de su población hasta ahora eran desconocidos. Con la implementación de una encuesta de movilidad y una matriz origen-destino, se observan las características de los viajes habituales de las personas y su distribución en el área de estudio. Los resultados reflejan las características de la movilidad, la concentración de viajes en ciertos puntos de la ciudad, la necesidad de tener más opciones de transporte, las limitantes en accesibilidad y conectividad, y las implicaciones socioambientales del esquema actual de movilidad.
