Descripción	The present text describes the different projects and actions carried out during the last twenty years, with the purpose of constructing an airport terminal at the Federal Zone of Lake Texcoco. The analysis outlines two broad positions in this regard, one reassured on the benefits of its edification and the second one as its opposite. Observing both positions draws out the attention to the land and the soil considered, for its relevance and the transformation it has endured, and the natural resources at stake on it. El presente texto describe las diversas acciones y proyectos para construir una terminal aeroportuaria en la Zona Federal del Lago de Texcoco a lo largo de más de veinte años. Se trata de un panorama general que permite dilucidar dos posturas al respecto: la de aquellos convencidos de su edificación y la de los opositores a este megaproyecto. Esto con el fin de observar la relevancia y el cambio de la noción misma de suelo, dada su transformación y carencia, lo que está conectado también con la valoración de los recursos naturales.
