##plugins.schemas.marc.fields.description.name##	The text analyzes the power of medical discourse (therapeutic ethos) to transmit values and prescribe sexual behaviors through women’s magazines. The emblematic case is Miss 17, which emerged towards the end of the military dictatorship in Chile and is the only magazine for teenagers in the country. Through a qualitative and exploratory methodology, and from the perspective of discourse analysis, a critical reading of two articles of the "Sex Sense" section is offered. Given the absence of other sources of sex education at the time, it is concluded that the journal is a primary source for inculcating a sexoafective model in young Chileans, characterized by a systemic interrelation of therapeutic ethos with the Church and the family as disciplinary devices of sexuality. El texto analiza el poder del discurso médico (ethos terapéutico) para transmitir valores y prescribir conductas respecto a lo sexual por medio de revistas femeninas. Se toma como caso emblemático a Miss 17, surgida hacia fines de la dictadura militar en Chile y única revista para adolescentes en el país. Mediante una metodología cualitativa y exploratoria, y desde la perspectiva del análisis del discurso, se ofrece una lectura crítica de dos artículos de la sección “Sexo Sentido”. Dada la ausencia de otras fuentes de educación sexual en la época, se concluye que la revista es una fuente primaria para inculcar un modelo sexoafectivo, en las jóvenes chilenas, caracterizado por una interrelación sistémica del ethos terapéutico con la Iglesia y la familia como dispositivos disciplinadores de la sexualidad.
