In Bourdieu's analytical perspective, the historical dimension crosses individual and collective life as objectified history in things and as incorporated history under the form of an habitus. Recognizing a historical true does not necessarily imply an eternal trap: there is a dialectic of knowledge and freedom, there is a possibility of objectifying necessity and becoming a subject. And is precisely in history where we need to search for the principle of relative independence of reason, trying to learn, reveal, and control these conditionings. In that process, the sociologist and the historian, as intellectuals, play a fundamental role. They have special tools, occupy a specific social position, and can accomplish that role, starting with the objectification of the objectifying subject.
En la perspectiva analítica de Pierre Bourdieu, la dimensión histórica atraviesa la vida individual y colectiva como historia objetivada en las cosas y como historia incorporada bajo la forma de habitus. El reconocimiento de esta verdad histórica no implica necesariamente una trampa eterna: hay una dialéctica del conocimiento y de la libertad, hay una posibilidad de objetivar la necesidad y de devenir sujeto. Y es en la misma historia en la que es necesario buscar el principio de la independencia relativa de la razón, intentando conocer, develar y controlar esos condicionamientos. En ese proceso, el sociólogo y el historiador, como intelectuales, tienen un papel fundamental. Cuentan con sus propias armas, ocupan una posición social específica y pueden cumplir ese papel, comenzando con la objetivación del sujeto objetivante. |
