Description
Résumé:Mascareño presents a sociological intervention program based on Luhmann's systems theory aimed at addressing the disconnection between individuals and society. He proposes strategies to increase the choice alternatives available to individuals and to enhance their motivation within social institutions. The premise is that sociology should contribute not only to explaining social transformations but also to guiding individual behavior in response to them. Contingency ethics is defined as a reflective program that recognizes the emergence of psychic and social systems seeking their development and autonomy.
