| Résumé: | This book, coordinated by the Argentine sociologist Pablo Semán, examines a topic of great relevance in contemporary political debate in Argentina: the emergence and consolidation of radicalized right-wing movements as central actors in the public sphere. In a context marked by polarization, the crisis of political representation, and widespread social discontent, this phenomenon poses crucial challenges to democratic coexistence, institutional quality, and the construction of consensus. The emergence of discourses and practices that strain the limits of pluralism, foster distrust and resentment, and mobilize authoritarian impulses compels a reconsideration of the assumptions and strategies of progressive and republican forces. In this regard, the volume provides analytical insights and empirical evidence that are essential for understanding the roots, dynamics, and scope of this process, as well as for conceiving political and cultural responses commensurate with this challenge.
