Résumé:This research note reports on the main results of a socioanthropological research that we carried out in the Chiapas Highlands (2007-2012) and whose main concern was to establish links between internal and international migration processes to the United States and its implications in the field of sexuality and reproduction, in the indigenous female and male youth population. It is documented how migration stands as a process of vital importance in the placement of these young people in situations and contexts that condition their resources and management capacity of management to prevent pregnancies and infections of sexual transmission depending on their gender condition, schooling, migratory situation.
