| Resumo: | In this report, we analyze the most important events in Singapore, from the second half of 2023 to November 2024; to this end, we review the data that determine Singapore’s national and international economy, as well as the most significant facts in the country’s domestic and foreign policy. We highlight a period of political alternation, due to the change of prime minister, in May 2024; Lawrence Wong, of the People’s Action Party, faces important challenges both internally (discontent with wage differentials, difficulties arising from the growth of the national economy and gender equality, among others) and externally (geopolitical rivalries between China and the United States, the international trade environment, emerging economic actors, etc.).
