| Summary: | This paper analyses an unpublished manuscript from XVIIth century property of L. Parent and now in the paremiologic collection at the Biblioteca Histórica Municipal of Madrid, Spain. The hand-written book contains three parts with 1 300 proverbs in Spanish and French languages, and some grammar appendix on spelling and pronunciation of French. We present here some writings characteristics of the text and transcribe the 700 Spanish proverbs included in the titled part "Proverbia hispanica". |
