Sumario:The book in question is organized into three major sections, the first part is the theoretical exposition, called Power. The second is an extensive analysis of the American rebellions that took place at the end of the 17th century up to the first half of the 19th century, entitled Modernity. The third part is an intellectual discussion of this theoretical project in reference to the critique of modernity, entitled Power in Modernity. In this book, the author proposes an answer to the question: Why do we obey political and social commands?
