Resumo:This article proposes the inclusion of menstrual health in the bioethics agenda based on the diagnosis that this issue is underrepresented in the discipline. Through an analysis of exemplary and current cases of this issue, the authors argue for an urgent bioethical approach to menstrual health that integrates transfeminist, intersectional, and human rights perspectives, in order help guarantee the rights of menstruating person, especially in relation to medical research, and to health care access and provision.
