| description | Until now, most of the studies of s/θ at the beginning of the syllable in Andalusia have focused on the behavior of these sibilants within its borders. However, few investigations have considered their outcome when coming into contact with a different system, such as the Castilian standard variety. This article aims to study the realization of s/θ in syllable-initial position in the speech of the Andalusian prime-ministers and ministers in Madrid between 1923 and 2011. The results show a convergence towards the national standard pronunciation, where the predominant solution is distinction, followed very far behind by seseo and, with an even smaller presence, by ceceo. The results show that the most significant factor of influence is the personal style of the speaker. |

Hasta ahora, la mayoría de los estudios de s/θ en el ataque silábico en Andalucía se ha centrado en el comportamiento de estas sibilantes dentro de sus fronteras; sin embargo, pocas investigaciones se ocupan del resultado de las mismas al entrar en contacto con un sistema diferente, el del español normativo centro-peninsular. Este trabajo estudia la realización de s/θ en posición inicial de sílaba en el discurso de los presidentes del Gobierno y ministros de origen andaluz en Madrid entre 1923 y 2011. Los resultadosalcanzados revelan una convergencia hacia el estándar nacional en que la solución predominante es la distinguidora, seguida muy de lejos del seseo y con apenas representación del ceceo. Los resultados también señalan que el estilo personal del orador constituye el factor de influencia más significativo.
