Description
Summary:Fecha de recepción: 29 de abril de 2014.Fecha de aceptación: 26 de mayo de 2016. The investigation is about the spontaneous pronunciation of sports commentators from 20 radio stations —one for every capital of Spanish-speaking countries— as heard on the internet. The pronunciation of the commentators is differentiated according to a taxonomy based on qualitative and quantitative data related to the phonemes and their phonetic variations. The classification starts with three principal variants of pronunciation: alpha (no differentiation of θ /s, no aspiration of implosive s); beta (no differentiation of θ /s, aspiration of implosive s); and gamma (differentiation of θ /s, no aspiration of implosive s).
