Prolegómenos para una teoría literaria, Alfonso Reyes describesthe relationship between metaphysical being and poetic fiction as the keyto understanding the ethical dimension of fiction. Reyes harmonizesthe poetic conceptions of Aristotle and Plato in his attempt to definethe relationship between truth and fiction.
