Mediante un estudio de diferentes memorias, documentos y notas periodísticas redactados entre las décadas de 1970 y 1980, este trabajo analiza la incursión del lesbianismo político entre los grupos feministas de la ciudad de México en un ambiente marcado por los embates del contexto regional y trasnacional de la Guerra Fría. Su objetivo principal es profundizar en el impacto que el feminismo tuvo en los debates sobre la sexualidad, el marxismo y el separatismo, y cómo el lesbianismo fue uno de los temas centrales que transformaron la relación de las mujeres con su emancipación en esas décadas.
