Morones archives), newspaper articles in Mexico and the United States and other documents and publications, from popular histories to academic texts. |

El texto analiza el papel que desempeñó un colectivo del movimiento obrero mexicano (Grupo Acción) en la arena política durante el periodo comprendido desde 1918 hasta 1928, destacando su participación en la política exterior desplegada por los gobiernos posrevolucionarios, en especial en lo relativo a las relaciones bilaterales entre México y Estados Unidos, también se abordan los esquemas que estructuraron los vínculos entre la esfera sindical y el régimen político, ubicando a la alianza que establecieron la Confederación Regional Obrera Mexicana (CROM) y la American Federation of Labor (AFL) como un factor determinante en los procesos antes referidos.
