En este trabajo se examina la coyuntura política mexicana de 1909-1910, prestando especial atención a la formación y desempeño del Partido Antirreeleccionista liderado por Francisco I. Madero. El objetivo consiste en analizar la estrategia partidista diseñada por Madero, así como los tópicos más importantes de su discurso, para entender de qué manera se articularon las propuestas de formación de un partido opositor y participación electoral con los argumentos que planteaban la legitimidad de la vía revolucionaria.
