Description
Résumé:This work examines the 1909-1910 political juncture  in Mexico, focusing mainly on the formation and actions of the Partido Antirreeleccionista (Antireelectionist Party) headed by Francisco I. Madero. The main idea is to analyze the party's strategy, as it was outlined  by Madero, as well as the main issues found in his discourse,  in order  to understand the articulation between,  on the one hand, proposals  for creating an opposition party and for obtaining electoral participation, and, on the other, arguments that legitimized revolutionary action.
