Description
Résumé:The Mexican Revolution affected Mexican life in every way, in cluding diplomatic measures and practices. Relations between Mexico and Spain during the revolutionary process had to over come  many obstacles. The  main one regarded the damages suffered by many Spanish immigrants, such as compulsory loans, seizures, expropriations, indemnification and blackmailing, or deportation, injuries, jailing and even the loss of their lives. These situations caused serious tension between Mexico and Spain. This paper offers an overview of diplomatic relations between Mexico and the  Spanish Crown during this period of conflict in Mexican history, during which, however, negotiation prevailed.
