The paper focuses on the Cuban Revolution and the recent constituent processes in Bolivia and Ecuador Desde las relaciones internacionales se ha tratado la participación de los movimientos de mujeres en procesos emancipadores, destacando los análisis respecto al contexto latinoamericano. Siguiendo esta línea de investigación, proponemos aquí un estudio de la efectividad de esta participación en procesos con características diferentes en cuanto a la forma de incorporar la participación social y en cuanto a la naturaleza de los actores sociales incorporados, en este caso los movimientos de mujeres. Para ello se propone el estudio de la Revolución Cubana y de los recientes procesos constituyentes de Bolivia y Ecuador.
