| 總結: | This article focuses on comparing the intergenerational class mobility patterns of women and men in Uruguay. Using trivariate and topological loglinear models on mobility tables for each gender, built with representative data of the Uruguayan working population aged between 25 and 65 years, it contrasts whether the association between class origin and destination has the same structure for women and men. The results indicate significant differences in the mobility patterns of each gender, supporting the effort to construct distinct relative mobility maps. In doing so, less clear effects of hierarchy and inheritance are identified for women compared to men, but some differential affinities and barriers are observed.
