Description
Summary:This article examines the officialist youth militancy that emerged in Argentina during the years of the government under the Frente para la Victoria (2003-2015). While this phenomenon has already been the subject of academic study, this work focuses on a less explored aspect: the temporal dimensions in the construction of its narratives. Drawing from interviews with members of militant organizations, the analysis explores the temporal articulation of events that shape their inscription within the national-popular tradition. The discussion is structured in three parts: first, it outlines the setting and the scope of the study; second, it explicates the relationships between the concepts of generations, traditions, narratives, and temporality; and finally, it offers an interpretation on how temporalities within the narratives contribute to the configuration of generational identities.
