| Resumo: | In this review, the central components of the work Contours of the political are outlined. Sociological Essays on Memory, Protest, Violence and the State, by Professor Marco Estrada. It also reflects on the thematic and conceptual unity of the book, some questions that it leaves pending, and the public sociology raised by the author. The main argument states that, despite the diversity of his objects of study, Estrada is consistent with the Anthropology of the State, and that he successfully responds to the public requirements of sociology. |
