| Resumo: | The nation-state is imposed in Latin America from the domination of the original societies. The book developed by Gaya Makaran and other authors aims to rethink the Latin American context from the relationship between nation-state and indigenous societies. The text has elements that enrich the current debate about the multiple forms of resistance in the national states, at the same time it is a bet to understand the current context always diverse and changing. Criticism results from the complexity of thinking about the Latin American multisociety character and its construction vis-à-vis the state. |
