| Summary: | To adapt to the present economic dynamics within the framework of the globalisation requires to explore the potentialities of the rural territorial systems and their actors. This necessity starts off of which the farmers as he bases of all agroproductive system locate schemes including. In this logic, the social capital plays a strategic role in the rural territory due to the relevance that has networking dynamics in its economic prosperity. In this sense, on the base of an ample revision of literature about the social capital and the analysis of two studies of case, purpose identify and examine the forms of social capital that settle down in the rural territorial systems; also to explore its possibilities of measurement. The study identifi ed and analyzed seven forms of associated social capital to the rural territorial systems, also balance sheet in its measurement. Finally, the analysis contributes elements that enrich the conceptual and scientifi c bases of the social capital.
