Description
Résumé:This paper discusses issues related to the development of input-output models in the regional area. The methodology involves the conversion of a national table to a regional, by using estimation techniques. The data source is employment and the national matrix 1993. The use of the resulting matrix is based on the impact of linkage between economic sectors, highlighting, among others, basic iron and steel industries and financial services. However, the proposed structure along with impact analysis can only be seen as a first step in a more realistic tool.
