Descripción
Sumario:The book offers a comprehensive analysis of the transformations, persistences, resistances, and contradictions surrounding masculinities in contemporary Mexico. Based on an exhaustive review of the specialized literature and in dialogue with her own research, the author organizes the text into five fundamental axes: male identity and masculinity, economic provision, domestic and care work, labor market insertion, and gender violence in the family sphere. The work paints a complex picture in which traditional and emerging patterns coexist in gender relations, revealing the complexity of the transition toward more equitable relationships.
