| Sumario: | The current paper is the result of a qualitative research based on the observation-participation method. Its objective was to visualize and analyze the way in which table dancers’ living and working conditions hinder and obstruct the acknowledgment and exercise of their sexual citizenship. As a result of prejudice associated with their activity, table dancers do not perceive themselves as subjects of law, susceptible of full access to sexual citizenship that provides the respect, recognition, protection and a dignified life that any person should have access to. |
