| Resumo: | In this article we present an informed reflection on the evolution of the concept of “development” to the inclusion of sexuality, a dimension of personal and social life. We reflect on the importance of this inclusion, but also on the limitations it presents. We believe queer theory allows us to overcome these limitations and set a new and solid ground for a concept of development that take into account human sexuality in its diversity. |
