| description | This article analyzes the Grupo de la Mujer of the Taller de Investigaciones Teatrales (TIT). During the last civil-military dictatorship in Argentina, this group provided a space for alternative artistic training and creation that encouraged stage experimentation, within the framework of a theatrical tradition with few female directors. The text explores how these women, in times of political repression and conservative restoration, were able to access creation, a practice hegemonized by men. The hypothesis is that the Grupo de la Mujer resorted to androgyny in its theatrical productions through non-dualist sexual and gender performances. In this way, they put on stage their experience as women in dialogue with the readings of different generations of socialist feminism and with the small transnational networks of Trotskyist university sociability of the seventies. Methodologically, the article takes a qualitative approach to the use of in-depth interviews and analysis of archival documents (magazines, group publications, production scripts, photographs, etc.). In times of state terrorism, the women of the TIT pushed the limits of the “discreet revolution” and explored androgyny as a synthesis that is a unifying force in the fight against the patriarchy or capitalism. |

Este artículo analiza el Grupo de la Mujer del Taller de Investigaciones Teatrales (TIT). En una Argentina que todavía atravesaba la última dictadura cívico-militar, este grupo propició un espacio de formación y creación artística alternativo en el que fomentaban la experimentación escénica, en el marco de una tradición teatral con pocas directoras. Su objetivo es comprender de qué manera estas mujeres, en tiempos de represión política y restauración conservadora, pudieron acceder a la creación, una práctica hegemonizada por los varones. La hipótesis es que el Grupo de la Mujer recurrió a la androginia en sus montajes teatrales a través de performances sexuales y de género alternativas a las dualistas. De esta manera lograron llevar a escena su experiencia como mujeres, en diálogo con las lecturas de distintas generaciones del feminismo socialista y con las redes trasnacionales de sociabilidad universitaria trotskista de los años setenta. En términos metodológicos, el artículo se vale de entrevistas en profundidad y análisis de documentos de archivo (revistas, publicaciones de los grupos, guiones de montaje, fotografías, etcétera) con un enfoque cualitativo. En tiempos de terrorismo de Estado, las mujeres del TIT corrieron los límites de la “revolución discreta” y exploraron la androginia como síntesis superadora de la división de la lucha contra el patriarcalismo o el capitalismo.
