| description | This paper aims to describe the phonological alterations caused by the concatenation of vowel enclitics to stems of the Mixteco of San Jerónimo de Xayacatlán. To fulfill this purpose, different verbal stems and constructions with vowel enclitics of 1sg and 2sg.fam are studied. The analysis suggests that the changes generated by the enclitics conform to the minimal word requirement established in the language. In this sense, operations on the base-enclitic edge are subject to a high-ranking restriction that ensures compliance with the bimoraic template of the Mixtec language. The analytical view chosen has a wide range of implications for this phonological-syntactic interface, including the exponency relationship, storage types, operations in different strata, and distinct possibilities of host-enclitic combination. The work presents an alternative approach to the minimal word and contributes to its modeling in Mixtec languages. |

El presente trabajo tiene por objetivo describir las alteraciones fonológicas que resultan de la concatenación de enclíticos vocálicos a las raíces verbales del mixteco de San Jerónimo de Xayacatlán. Para cumplir con este propósito, se estudian diferentes bases verbales y construcciones con enclíticos vocálicos de 1sg y 2sg.fam. El análisis plantea que los cambios generados por la enclisis se ajustan al requerimiento de minimidad establecido en la lengua. En ese sentido, las operaciones en la frontera base-enclítico vocálico están supeditadas a una restricción de alta jerarquía que vela por ajustarse a la plantilla bimoraica del mixteco. Esta perspectiva analítica tiene repercusiones en distintos ámbitos de esta interrelación entre los módulos fonológico y sintáctico evidenciando relaciones de exponencia, tipos de almacenamiento, operaciones específicas en distintos estratos y posibilidades de combinación entre huésped-clítico. El trabajo muestra otro enfoque de la minimidad y aporta sobre su modelación en las lenguas mixtecas.
