En este informe analizamos los acontecimientos más relevantes de Singapur, desde el segundo semestre de 2023 hasta noviembre de 2024; para ello, revisamos los datos que determinan la economía nacional e internacional de Singapur, así como los hechos más significativos en la política doméstica y exterior de este país. Destacamos un periodo de alternancia política, debido al cambio de primer ministro, en mayo de 2024; Lawrence Wong, proveniente del Partido Acción Popular ( PAP), enfrenta desafíos importantes tanto internos (descontento por las diferencias salariales, por las dificultades derivadas del crecimiento de la economía nacional y por la equidad de género, entre otros) como externos (rivalidades geopolíticas entre China y Estados Unidos, el entorno comercial internacional, actores económicos emergentes, etc.).
