| 總結: | Given the distancing of the López Obrador administration from the issues of the country’s international agenda, the authors of the text consider it necessary to leave the international topics to analyze the new issues imposed by the change in the context of the relationship with the main countries of East Asia: Japan and the People’s Republic of China. These new issues relate to the trade in synthetic drug precursors (in the case of China) and to drug trafficking by Mexican citizens (in the case of Japan). This emerging topic influences, from now on, the relations of the Mexican government with its Asian counterparts; without a doubt, it will be decisive for their future development.
