Resumo:The Russian invasion of Ukraine in February 2022 has damaged Russia’s global position. This undeclared war has caused the mass migration of millions of people and has fueled disregard for the value of international law, democracy, and human life. The Kremlin's destructive policy left Russia isolated by sanctions and in open confrontation with the Western bloc. This complex context forced it to seek and strengthen cooperation with the states of the Global South, which became its main vector in foreign policy and trade.
