Sumario:After the July 2023 elections, Prime Minister Hun Sen announced that his son Hun Manet would be the new Prime Minister in the new government. Hun Sen remains head of the ruling party and the Senate. He will also head the Privy Council. In international relations, in November 2022 Hun Sen finished his term as president of the Association of Southeast Asian Nations. Relations with China are increasingly closer. In the economy, growth of 5.6% is expected by 2023.
