Sumario:The report of Taiwan covers the most significant events that shaped the development of domestic policy, foreign policy and its impact on the economy during 2020. The Covid-19 pandemic was the most important event that changed the course of global history. However, Taiwan successfully managed to face the challenges derived from the health emergency showed itself as a successful case. However, 2020 also meant a year of multiple mobilizations in the Taiwan Strait, because tensions between China and the United States once again placed Taipei as a fundamental piece on the geopolitical chessboard between both countries.
