In this sense, the paper analyzes the transition of the Mexican immigration  policy and certain governmental posi-tions: from being a liberal, open doors policy –which not only did not limit, but even encouraged  Jewish immigration, among others– to a closed doors policy which, during the 1930’s, entailed a marked attitude  of rejection towards the entrance to the country of a large number of ethnical, religious and national groups, including the Jews.…”
