| Resumo: | This paper raises the relevance of the concepts essayistic voice, mode and time when describing, in the same order, the textual manifestation that updates the thought of an author’s self in discursive instances and particular spatiotemporal coordinates; a subject’s concentration on an object of study through thought; and the temporal relationship between the voice and the situation in which it manifests itself. The proposed terms aim to describe more precisely some particularities of essay writing. |
