| Sumario: | The Diccionario de la ciencia y de la técnica del Renacimiento (DICTER- Dictionary of Renaissance Science and Technics) registers the scientific-technical vocabulary contained in texts of this type from the sixteenth and seventeenth centuries. It includes vocabulary referring to tools that stands out for the way it is treated in the texts. Close examination reveals that the presentation of these tools follows three procedures: enumeration, explanation and illustration, which are determined by the theoretical-scientific or the practical-technical nature of the work or works that contain them and by the discursive tradition to which the construction of these works pertains. |
