Sumario:The author of this article comments on some Jesuit hagiographic celebrations on the occasion of the beatification and canonization of Saint Ignatius of Loyola and Saint Francis Xavier with a detailed analysis of the allegorical elements that appear in the processions and triumphant carts. Also, the article especially shows the allegory of America within the four parts of the world, with different iconographies, political, religious and aesthetic dimensions of the figures personified in these celebrations.
