| Resumo: | This work aims to present new foreign trade series that, although not precise, are approximate enough to serve as a basis for any study on the topic. Since Mexican sources are quite incomplete and have several limitations, we have drawn on practically every available foreign source. In addition, we offer the main indicators used in international literature to evaluate foreign trade performance: terms of trade, import capacity, constant values, and per capita values. Our perception is that foreign trade was small, as was its growth, a situation that reflects on the equally small economy. |
