Sumario:The use of contraceptives has broadened in Mexico over the last few years. This paper is based on NDS data and describes some of the characteristics of the distribution of this method among different social groups, the institutions involved and the special nature of their respective "clientèles", the timeliness of the accomplishment and the magnitude of the increase.
