| description | This article analyses the political culture in the Basque pro-independence left-wing movement in the 1990s and 2000s. Through the itineraries of three women involved in this movement, the paradigm of sacrifice is explored as one of the main features in this political culture. It also examines criticism, changes and proposals made in the current political scenario with the aim of contributing to a feminist approach to memory. Feminist theory allows us to raise the profile of alternative political subjects, to introduce different contents in the political agenda, open up new debates, and suggest alternative approaches. The article concludes that in the current political context, meanings are continually resignified, blurring the boundaries between the private and the public, the political and non-political, broadening the conceptualisation of what it means to work collectively while imagining new ways invigorate and experience politics.

El presente artículo analiza la cultura política de la Izquierda Independentista Vasca en las décadas de 1990 y 2000. Por medio del estudio de las encrucijadas de los itinerarios militantes de tres mujeres conoceremos mejor los modos de vivir el paradigma del sacrificio como uno de los rasgos fundamentales de esta cultura. También busca identificar críticas, transformaciones y propuestas en el actual escenario político, para así contribuir a la construcción de memorias donde la teoría feminista nos posibilita visibilizar y rescatar otros sujetos políticos, introducir contenidos diferentes a la agenda política, proponer nuevos debates y aportar diversas miradas. Concluye que actualmente se está cuestionando la relación entre lo que se considera privado y público, político y no político, resignificando conceptos, ampliando el sentido rígido de entender lo colectivo, y en general de concebir nuevas formas de dar vida a la política y de vivir lo político.
