| Résumé: | This paper presents an interpretation of the advances in gender equity of reconciliation in Spain, since the 1999 Act to Promote Workers’ Reconciliation of Family and Work Life until the extension of paternity leave in 2017. The result of this investigation shows that the country presents a limited development in gender equity with an emphasis on the contribution to fathers and mothers with a more disadvantageous position in the job market. |
