總結:This article aims to analyze the changes in care work policies and the transformations they promote in the social organization of this activity. The author studies the development of policies for early childhood, sick, and elderly people, all without social security benefits, in Mexico from 2018 to 2023. Considering studies on changes in public policies, especially those related to care work, the text is based on a mixed methodology from an intersectional feminist perspective, comparing the normative assumptions of the policies and quantitative indicators of their implementation. In 2019, the federal government, as part of its austerity policy, changes the programs analyzed related to care work. This paper argues that in some cases these changes maintained or expanded their objectives but reduced their intensity (coverage and budget). This can be understood as a process of dismantling, in which some of the care provision and costs of services previously provided by the state were transferred to Mexican households without social security.
