However, despite South Africa receiving so much attention at the time, nowadays there is a great deal of ignorance about it, its history and Nelson Mandela, both in terms of who he was and the role he played. Therefore, this study focuses on the life and impact of Nelson Mandela, while contextualizing him within the history of South Africa and apartheid. |
