| Summary: | This paper revisits the main events that occurred in Vietnam from the fourth quarter of 2020 to the third quarter of 2021. The document is divided into three sections: politics, international relations, and economics. These events raise the question about whether this country has been moving towards a transformation since the Doi Moi economic reforms, after the post-election changes within the XIII National Congress of the Communist Party of Vietnam and given the role played by regional and international actors that determine the Vietnamese economic positioning and its dynamics within international politics. In addition, a key issue is the review of the government strategy for dealing with the Covid-19 crisis.
